How the technique works
The Wispy Effect is an added technique where your technician creates customized handmade fans composed of 3-7 individual lashes. Each fan is built with alternating lengths so, when applied to natural or extension base lashes, the layered lengths mimic the density and edge of a false strip lash without using a pre-made strip.
Application uses single handmade fans attached to individual natural or extension lashes to build points of volume and movement. The pattern of alternating lengths and fan placement shapes the overall silhouette; the result reads like a strip lash from a distance while remaining composed of discrete fans on each lash.
Customization and design choices
Design starts with a consultation about how much "strip" effect you want and what will best suit your natural lash health. Your technician selects fan sizes (3-7 lashes) and alternating-length patterns to balance drama with natural lash strength, adapting the look to your eye shape and any existing extensions.
Because the Wispy Effect is handmade, placement and fan density are adjustable: you can emphasize length at the center or outer corners, or choose a softer distribution. Those choices influence how pronounced the Kim K-style strip appearance becomes and how the fans blend with classic or volume sets.
Timing, pricing and booking
Wispy Effect is an add-on technique performed during your lash appointment and is priced at $25. The add-on itself requires 30 MINUTES, and scheduling may be coordinated with a full set or a fill. Mention this add-on when booking so your technician reserves the necessary time.
