How the refill works
A volume lash fill replaces grown-out extensions by adding lightweight, handmade fans to each natural lash. Technicians create 2D–6D fans with ultra-thin extensions (typically 0.05–0.07mm diameter) and attach them individually to natural lashes. For returning guests, the artist first assesses natural-lash health and remaining extensions before matching fan size and placement to the existing map.
The refill process is corrective as well as restorative: we remove any loose or tangled extensions, then fill gaps to restore density and maintain symmetry. Fan size and placement depend on your natural-lash strength, existing extension map, and desired look—this is why fills for existing guests let us preserve a previously crafted shape while refreshing fullness.
Aftercare and retention
The first 24–48 hours are critical: keep volume lashes dry, avoid steam and heavy sweating, and do not use oil-based products near the eye area. Hands-off care prevents premature shedding; if irritation or unusual shedding occurs, your technician will evaluate natural-lash health before future fills. These early hours set retention for the weeks ahead.
Daily maintenance extends wear: cleanse gently with our Lash Bubble Bath, brush with a clean spoolie, and avoid mascaras, lash curlers, and steam rooms. Sleep on your back or use a silk pillowcase to reduce friction. For best results, schedule fills every 2–3 weeks so we can maintain fullness while monitoring lash integrity.
